iFixr
Handier than you think.

How it worksThe problem
The drawer sticks, the zipper jams, the tap drips. On a Sunday evening there are three answers: buy new, wait for someone, or live with it.
Tenants in the Netherlands are expected by law to handle the small repairs. Nobody ever showed them how, and a tradesman will not drive out for twenty euros.
Why it matters
Most small breakdowns can be solved with what is already in the house. Every fix is money saved and a thing that does not end up in the bin.
When it really is a job for a professional, people deserve someone nearby who has been checked, not a random listing.
The alternative
Film it for ten seconds, or take two photos, and say in one sentence what is wrong. iFixr tells you what it sees and what you already have, then gives the ways out, safest first: with what you have, with a cheap part, or with a professional.
Every answer passes a safety check first. Electricity, gas, chemicals, locks, medical situations and vehicles are never do-it-yourself. Then iFixr says so plainly and points to the right person.
Not fixed, or you would rather have someone come by? Through Robin Hood Network a vetted Fixr in your postcode area can take the job. You pay the Fixr for the work, never the network.
