How it worksThe problem
Most people meet the police unprepared. In the moment you do not know whether you must show ID, whether a search is allowed or what you may refuse, and the person in front of you has the authority and the routine.
The answers exist, scattered over statutes, government pages and legal aid sites. Nobody reads those during a stop.
Why it matters
Nobody should be powerless because they do not know the law. Rights you do not know about are rights you do not have.
Calm and informed beats angry and guessing, for everyone in the encounter.
The alternative
JusAlly listens along or lets you tap what is happening, and shows short cards: what applies, what you can say, what you may decline. Every card points to its source.
Recordings and sessions stay on your phone. There is no account and nothing goes to a server unless you choose to share it.
If you are arrested, you have the right to a free duty lawyer (piketadvocaat). Ask for one. JusAlly explains your rights, it does not replace a lawyer. For help with a lawyer through the app, JusAlly has its own lawyer desk inside the network.
How it works
- 01
Before
Read the guides: ID checks, searches, traffic stops, home entry, arrest, questioning, filming the police.
- 02
During
Open the live screen. Cards appear for what is happening, with a sentence you can say.
- 03
Recording
Video or audio on your own device, with a fingerprint so you can show it was not changed.
- 04
After
A record of what happened, help with complaints and evidence, and a lawyer who is available now if you need one.
